Norcal Dynamics™ BMW N54 High-Performance Twin Turbochargers 17/19T

I really hope this review helps anyone that was in the same situation as me. I had been needing turbos for quite a while because my stock seals were gone.
After tons of research and not having a huge budget to work with I found these turbos, the specs and the price was exactly what I was looking for. I was hesitant to purchase simply because you can’t find a lot of reviews on these turbos. Finally after making the purchase and installing the turbos I must say, they are fantastic so far. My spools sound amazing and they changed my car completely performance wise. I’m about 700 miles in and haven’t had any issues at all. I just finished my custom tune from JSR tunes and my car is pulling flawlessly with 227000 miles, I see a huge top end power gain!
Most importantly is the customer service I have received from the owner jack! He has always responded to me very quickly whenever I had some questions on the install and is a really cool guy who knows the bmw performance game.
If you are like me and are tempted to try these turbos out, just trust and do it! You’ll be satisfied!

Man, the NorCal Dynamics 17T turbos for the N54 are straight fire. I threw these on my car, and the difference was night and day. Spool is faster, so no more waiting around for the turbo to kick in. The power is super smooth but still packs a punch when you need it. It’s like the car woke up. Top-end power is solid, and I can feel the car pulling hard all the way up the rev range.

What I really like is how reliable they’ve been. No weird noises, no weird issues, just a solid upgrade. If you're looking to make big power without losing daily drivability, these are definitely worth it.

I was looking at a lot of options, but I eventually landed on Norcal Dynamics. The reason why I chose Norcal is their professional approach and customer-oriented culture. I work in supply chain and have dealt with many vendors over the past eight years. Over these years, I’ve developed a good skill in figuring out if a vendor is worth working with, and Norcal Dynamics definitely made the cut.

So long story short, I've had these turbos installed for about two weeks now, and I am more than impressed by their performance and sound. The pulls are so clean and sharp that I'm getting addicted to the experience! The only downside is that you'll find yourself wanting to drive more just to hear that exhilarating sound, so pray for gas prices to go down. If you decide to buy these turbos, be prepared for a thrilling and addictive ride!
