Mirror caps have a high gloss finish, it will be protecteed from yellowing and going bad.
Easy install just pop your old ones out and replace!
NOTE: When removing your old mirror caps please be careful cause you might bend tabs or mess them up which can cause the new mirror caps to not fit as great!
